A food-delivery platform demo on a live map of Yerevan: customers order and track the courier, couriers accept and deliver, dispatchers watch every route, order and KPI in real time — all running on real street routes.
Restaurants that rely on delivery aggregators give away a big commission and the customer relationship. Routo shows what a white-label alternative looks like: three connected apps on one live data layer.
The customer picks a restaurant, places an order and follows the courier on the map with a live ETA and a status timeline. The courier gets the offer, picks the food up when the kitchen marks it ready and hands it over at the door. The dispatcher sees all eight couriers moving across Yerevan, every active order and the key numbers — busy couriers, average delivery time and revenue. Courier movement follows real street routes from OpenStreetMap.

What I did
- Built the three apps with React 19, TypeScript and Vite
- Wrote the simulation engine (Zustand): kitchen timers, dispatching, courier phases and ETAs
- Pre-computed ~140 street routes and animated couriers along route geometry by distance
- Built the live maps with Leaflet, including a dark dispatcher theme and cached markers
Results
- Full order cycle — order, cook, pick up, deliver — in under a minute of demo time
- 8 couriers and 6 restaurants moving live on one screen
